A friend in northern California just sent me an article from Harper’s Bazaar magazine about costume jewelry. “The necklace is the prize catch of the season,” Bazaar says, “ . . . the single greatest accessory to update your look! And designer costume is it! Whimsical, conversation starters . . . ” Yes! Finally the fashion mags come around to what’s cool and affordable. They even mention one-of-a-kind pieces as being the “it” jewels.
