Keep a green tree in you heart . . .
. . . and maybe a singing bird will come. (I love this old chinese proverb). It’s June and here in LA the trees have new growth, the Jacarada’s have bloomed all purple and their flowers have carpeted the sidewalks. Our next door neighbor planted baby trees last year all along the sidewalk in front of not only his building, but our’s as well. We thought they might have died over the winter—as even into the late spring they still looked like dried up sticks. But they surprised everyone and are now filled with shiny budding leaves. It’s like a lovely little forest.
I’m making a collection of new necklaces and earrings. Still in the process (then it will have to be photographed and posted) — have been consumed by other projects as well.
Nonetheless, I can tell you that the new necklaces and earrings are scrumptious! With influences coming from Russian Gypsies, English country-houses, French ball gowns, Moroccan caravans, birds, bees, and quiet walks in the green piney woods.
So check back — the new collection should be posted by the end of the month. In the meantime, we can dream of Paris —
Gardens —
And beautiful things —
Meanwhile, if you’re in Southern California and would like to come by and see the collection, including the new things that are already finished, give a call or an email!
