Beauty is all around you

As we rush from work to errands to walking the dog or picking up the kids; to the dry cleaner, to the hardware store, to that social commitment, to whatever it is that we have to do in this busier than busy existence, we most likely don’t even think about stopping for a moment to catch our breaths, to just stop and see the beauty that’s all around us — simple things really.   So this morning when I took the dog out, I decided to do just that!  Here are a few of the beautiful things I found —

Flowers, blooming all over Emeryville, some of them clearly thinking it’s Spring already —

The intricate pattern of tree bark —

The shadow of a tree on the side of the wall —

Clouds reflected on windows on this wind-swept morning —

A neighbor’s smiling dog —

Here’s hoping you can find a moment to stop — and delight in the beauty that’s around you —
